We are proud to present and salute the following Role Models; each of these inspiring ladies demonstrate skill and knowledge in their chosen fields, within the following categories;

Design Team

Each of the ladies in our Design Team were integral participants, from contracting to purchase the block of land, handling the conveyancing, drawing up plans that met all of the criteria outlined in the design brief- to designing our Logo as "representative of women in building retaining their femininity" and the very website we have dedicated to this National first project. We profile each of these skillfull women to gain an insight into their chosen careers. Of course there is one man, John Hill, who is our project certifier- this indicates that certification is an area that women have not yet fully tapped into.

*Your name:* Lyn Sidney.
*What obstacles have you overcome on your journey into and through the Building inusdtry?* So far, managing all the facets of my own Interior Design business in this competitive industry, whilst juggling two young children. When you are doing something you are passionate about, it can be all worth it.
*Why do you think it is important to help establish a name and better recognised opportunities for women in Building?* It is important for women to establish a name and be recognised in a positive light in this male dominated industry. I think this project is a great opportunity for women to break out and bound into the industry and complete projects just as well as men can.
*What are your goals for the future?* My goals are to continue to excite and exceed my client's expectations for all their new projects whilst expanding my business, employing staff and successfuly raising my young family.
*Lyn's inspirational message:* I take inspiration from a number of people and for different reasons; anyone who has worked hard and succeeded in achieving their goals and dreams is an inspiration to me.
