To practice as an engineer a Civil Engineering Degree is required through an accredited university.

- Do you think it is important to help establish better recognised opportunities for females in the Building insudtry? If so, why?
Yes - unless you have been born into the industry there can often be a lot of mis-information about career paths available to women within the building industry.

- Has your business introduced or been involved in any initiatives particularly aimed at encouraging women into your industry prior to this showcase?
Yes - my employer has allowed me to work part time with very flexible hours and with a young family this was an important factor in my returning into the workforce.
