D2D since February 2009 although I have been running my own business for around 7 years under a different business name.

• The nature of your business within the Building industry:

Interior Design and Decorating (assisting with colours, fittings and finishes etc to give homes that final personal touch).

• How can women get involved in your industry?

You need to study interior design for a minimum of three years full time either at a University (recommended these days) or a Tafe with a recognised course. Just as important in conjunction with study is qualified work experience with professional designers.
